The ultimate goal for driving these specifications is to be able to complete a full suite of tests in 15 minutes or less.

  • Two CPU cores
  • 2GB ram
  • Reliable internet connection

Specification examples:

Linode 2880 Xen instance of Debian Lenny 32 bit from the Dallas datacenter completes tests in 16 minutes using 4 cores.

qa-1.damz.org completes tests in 10 minutes:

  • 8 cores (4 in-use)
  • 7 GB ram
  • Debian Lenny 64 bit OpenVZ instance

tdo.cgraphics.com completes tests in 8.5 minutes:

  • 16 cores (8 in-use)
  • 10 GB ram
  • Debian Lenny 64 bit OpenVZ instance
